When I went to my appt with Guy two Mondays ago, I was going to have him write the gender of our baby in an envelope for all of us to open as a surprise. My friend, Danika, suggested it and I thought it sounded like a lot of fun. But I bailed out. Too excited! I then immediately called Chancho but kept it a surprise from the kids and my parents until that night. We had a little Family Home Evening and then I had the the kids (and my dad) color a picture of a baby either as a boy or a girl to see who was right. Here were their guesses.
Deedle has been praying every night for the past several weeks, "Please bless that the baby is a girl." Guess who guessed (and prayed) right?
Yep, its a GIRL!!!

That is very exciting and a fun way to tell your family! I hope you are feeling OK.
Oh and I totally agree with the tender mercies, I think the same thing when I go out to my car and then come back in to grab something and I notice the back door wide open:) Things like that happen all the time even though they are simple small things, I count them as tender mercies instead of coincidences. Oh and her costume was amazing she looked beautiful!

Congratulations! Your family is getting blessed yet again! SO I only peek in every few months and I see a possible move? A new baby girl, and the most amazing, beautiful, OLD children. When did they get so grown up. Isn't it amazing to see how far we have come and what grown ups we are. It suprprises me daily the encounters I have with the most amazing people especialy you, my dear friend. I miss our talks in the long ago days. Hope all is well.
