My first-born child. Last Friday she came into my room and said, "I was over at Catherine's house and I was playing dress-up and she had this like Chinese dress thing and I put it on and I looked at myself in the mirror and I thought, 'I'm not really a kid any more.'"
I hugged her and said, "Oh, you are definitely still a kid. You will always be my kid, that's for sure."
And she is still a kid, but she's also growing up. These pictures make me think that perhaps she is growing up too fast!
So then I have to look at these pictures of her--with her mismatched nailpolish, I Love Icecream pj shirt, her baby blue eyes, and her little pout--as she snuggles on my bed. She still looks just like my baby girl.

But she DOES look, older, gorgeous and like a smiling Gwyneth Paltrow in that dress and cowboy boots...she continues to be a beauty every time I see her photos!! Tell her I said so~
She is getting old - I bet it's nice to have a helper around with Lila.
Is Catherine Aaron's wife? How close do they live?

@ nat ~ aaron's wife is allison. catherine is allison's sister. catherine just lives 3 houses away. aaron and allie live only about 10 minutes away. so nice to have some people that i love close by!
Oh dear, she is so very, very beautiful, and unique and clever and sweet and well just so many good things. Tell her I love and miss her!!
