The kids and I took off to meet Meg at Bear Lake for a night at the Junk cabin last week. Mary came, too. Nancy met us in the morning and we all had fun at the beach. I'll have to share photos. But this post is, once again, about skin color. Sorry. Its just that I was holding Finn and Loumy came up to me and I saw our three colors together and it reminded me of one of my favorite children's books, "The Colors of Us". The book is narrated by 7 year old Lina. She says, "I am the color of cinnamon. Mom says she could eat me up." Lina goes around her neighborhood seeing her friends and describing their different colors.
So, what color are we?
Add a little whip cream to this French Silk cake and you've got the colors of us.
