Today we had Loumy's good little buddy, Kole, over to play until he went to kindergarten in the afternoon. He is Deedle's age and they also enjoy playing together. I tuned in to the middle of a conversation as they were waiting for me to get them some lunch.
Kole: She's a hot chick.
Loumy: Who is?
Kole: Her! (pointing to Deedle) She's a hot chick.
A few minutes later as we sat down for pb&j, I asked, "So, Kole, is Deedle a hot chick?"
He shrugged and looked over at her, "She is...if she wants to be."
Deedle nonchalantly responds, "And I do."
And that was that.
Here is the silly girl on her first day of kindergarten. Cute? Definitely! Hot? I prefer not to think of her with that word. Hot-headed perhaps. But to be "hot", don't you at least have to be a teenager?

the conversations kids have seriously crack me up. :) i'm with you on the 'hot' having to at least be a teenager thing. :) she is, by all means, very adorable. i love the peace sign photo. :)
she is . . . if she wants to be -- AWESOME! yes, and of course, she does.
Speaking of "hot" -- once, up in WA, Abe's pal yelled that a lady driving by in a car was "hot." Abe asked me what it meant and I told him it meant that you thought they were really cute or good looking, but then I told him how I didn't like him to use that word because even though it is nice to day someone is pretty, there is something about "hot" that doesn't seem as nice or respectful blah blah blah . . . and well, it was all very confusing.
I can hear her little voice: "and i do!" those are seriously the cutest poses from that gorgeous little thing. i am so in love with her, but she is so grown up I want to cry a little
ha ha ha that is so funny especially as the hot chick pipes in!!! yes we are losing them to the horrible institution of kindergarten which keeps us prisoner 5 days per week and the evilist day of half day which is 1/4 DAY which allows them to go and come back an hour and a half later!
But I cant believe how tall your girls are!!
I love that little Sassy Miss Thang!
And the good Lord knows that girl is going to be "hot" later on --- better start "the talks" now :)
