One nice thing about Finn being born so early and tiny was that I had a newborn baby for a very long time. Lila is growing so fast and doing so many things! She makes tons of sounds, smiles, giggles, and tries to reach for things. Each knew thing she does is so precious and exciting, but, also sad. She's just growing too fast! Luckily for me, she still loves to sleep snuggled up on my chest. I am always sad when the day comes that my babies can't just snuggle with me to sleep, so I savor whenever we have an afternoon to rest together while Finn naps. We all adore our Lila Pearl, who is now three months old!

OH! I HATE that I can not be kissing her little face!! Her skin still totally looks like that softest newborn baby skin. Speaking of -- why do your babies escape the sad awful baby acne that mine get from about two to five months? I love her!
here is how to escape the baby acne. dreft. i always keep the baby's clothes separate and do her load with dreft (well, i usually add some of the kids clothes, too, just to make a whole load). with all of my babies, except andre, the minute i put something on them that has been washed in regular human detergent, they break out. even using a burp cloth that hasn't been washed in dreft will make her break out. so, i just wash all of her clothes, towels, washcloths, etc, in dreft and have very little problem. this might not solve yours but grace started having it bad, so i tried it and with each of mine i've found the same to be true. also, at the hospital they'll give you one of those little brush things that doctor use to scrub their hands with before surgery. or we'd scrub with them before going into the nicu. know what i'm talking about? vigorously scrubbing babies head with that and baby soap and that little thing avoid acne on the scalp and cradle cap.
