Deedsy and Loumy have both lost their front teeth in the past few weeks. I love it. Seeing their gummy smiles and hearing their lispy voices makes them seem much younger to me. These two kids are super cool. They are also at eachother's throats nearly all the live long day. When they are happy together, though, life is so sweet. I overheard them talking the other day and couldn't resist writing down their conversation. They were playing the "which do you like better?" game.
Loumy: Which do you like better...Lila or Trees?
Deedle: Well...I don't know...trees DO give us oxygen and we can't live with out oxygen.
Loumy: Do you like Emma or trees better?
Deedle: Trees because, I told you, they give us oxygen. How can you like somebody if you're not even alive? If we had no trees NONE of us would be alive.
Deedle: What do you like better...worms or croutons?
Loumy: What are croutons?
Deedle: Crispy little breads.
Loumy: Croutons!
Deedle: Who do you like better...Jesus or yourself?
Loumy: Mmmm....Jesus a little bit better.
Deedle: Who do you like better, Jesus or ME?
Loumy: Well, Jesus a little bit more because He's our creator.
Loumy: What do you like better...Lila or drinking fountains?
Deedle: Don't ask me questions like that! I told you not to ask me those kinds of questions!!! But...well...hm...not to be rude...but I'd say Lila. Because, well, no offense to all the drinking fountains, but you can always get a drink other places.

That conversation was AWESOME!! "No offense to drinking fountains" Sigh. SWEEET. And, for some reason Goldie lost her two front teeth long ago and already has two huge ones there and they really are huge. NOw I can kind of see why mom said she missed her big front beaver teeth like mine because it is kind of cute to see her two big front teeth that are way way bigger than Abe's and Daisy's and much bigger than her baby ones. It is cute but also makes me a little sad that their look and smile changes.
