SEVEN!!!

Seven Years ago today I gave birth to my first child. I think it was the most emotional and touching experience I have ever had. She was an absolutely gorgeous baby with lots of blond hair, big blues eyes, long lashes, rose bud lips--just as precious as can be.

Per my tradition I started, here is a little countdown:

Brand New...
One...
Two...
Three..
Four...
Five...
Six...
Seven!!!

Beautiful, first born child of mine, I love you with all of my heart. You are a very wise soul. At the most recent parent-teacher conference, Mrs. Burch told me that she is constantly amazed at how old you sound, how thoughtful you are, and how she can always count on you. You are full of kindness. Sure, you have your hard times with your sister but you truly were born with compassion and empathy. You often ask if after you are married you can live with me because you want to live with me forever and ever and ever. You are growing up way too fast and I'm afraid you will be wanting to move out before I know it. Having you go to school full-day this year has been hard for me--letting go of you a bit. But you have grown so much so quickly. You are thriving and love to learn. You have a great attention span and will not hesitate to read to me for over an hour from a new book. You love the latch-hook project Daisy gave you and have learned how to do it very quickly and will be happy to sit and work on it for a good two hours. You are growing up fast, but I enjoy seeing that you are still just a little girl--your favorite gift tonight was a "Hello Kitty" house with furniture and animals to play inside it. You are kind and nurturing to your siblings, especially Loumy. You are just a wonderful girl and we feel so blessed that Heavenly Father gave you to us seven years ago today!

Dear SC,
You are like great cheese. You are good at first, but get better with age. Thanks for being such a good friend to Liv. We love you.

What a sweet little girl. I wish she could have come to Warren's with us all. You should have been a good mom like Joy and taken her out of school to come and meet me. But, I guess you were too busy to do that because you were planning 18 parties! Bless you - you are the best mom! It was nice to see you! Happy Birthday to SC! How do you find stuff to give her so close to Christmas to make both celebrations fun? I have hard enough time finding stuff I want to get for just one holiday.
This was a nice little Birthday tribute - one she will love as she grows older.

I think the other date we have in common was Oct 12?? I always home make my kids bday cakes they are never anything amazing, but they think they are cool. So... I never did get that blurb to work, after researching a little it said it no longer did blogger anymore and to just copy paste your entries. But my computer can be slow and a lot of my pics are on my moms computer and if I copy pasted the pictures from my blog it was telling me my pictures were going to be blurry in the book. If I get the pics straight from my computer it is fine. I did a few pages and had troubles getting more than one picture on a page with a small amount of text. So I would have 2 or 3 pics on one page and have to put the 3 or 4 lines of text that go with it on the page next to it and I was hating how it was coming out. Any help would be so appreciated, I tried looking for another web site that would do blogger but didn't find anything. My sister who is computer savy is coming into town later this week I already gave her a heads up to help me, she is really good with photo shop so she might be able to combine photos before putting them on pages??? Who knows, either way it is going to be a lot more work than the whole slurping thing.

O that was so neat. I love the picture sequence. And how is it that she keeps getting more beautiful? I love that sweet letter to her. She will love it as she looks back on it. Happy Birthday little angel! Love you so much, Aunty M

Happy Birthday my sweet, sweet girl. Though you may not remember the delightful visit Halis and I shared with you 3 years ago this month ... we certainly do ... and we think of you always. So proud of the young lady you are becoming and so grateful to watch your life's journey.

Many, many Happy Birthdays to You.
Love,
Jodi, Halis & Isaac
