I need to finish preparing my Relief Society lesson to be given in 10 hours but I really want to post about how happy I am that Amir Sadollah won the Ultimate Fighter finale tonight. CB Dolloway is so arrogant, and Amir is just so cool and down to Earth and funny and cute. And what is wrong with me that I like to watch Ultimate Fighting and know all about the UFC? My dad and I used to occasionally rent these fights on VHS back in the day. It has changed a lot since then. And as I sit on the couch, completely tense and biting my nails as two guys smash eachothers' faces in, I wonder, what is it that keeps me glued here? why am I watching? I don't know. We all have our vices. This is mine (yes, the ONLY one, so don't even start).

For the first time in my bloggerness, I am left speechless. Is there any tie-in to a RS lesson here? Because I can tie in all my vices somehow - all for the sake of justification.

Yah, I didn't even know this about you . . . though I can picture Megs might enjoy to bite nails and scream at appropriate intervals watching such a thing with you. I think I could never uncover my eyes once, but I do like to buy the occasional US magazine, so who's worse now? Vanity and immorality or blood and gore.
tia ~ my rs lesson was based on elder oaks talk 'testimony' from last gc. of course we learned that we gain our testimonies through the spirit. you don't feel the spirit when you watch the ufc. so, that is the tie in. it is rough having such a vice.

I just learned something new about you! I never would have guessed that you enjoyed watching fights. But perhaps you did not know that I have a total thing for Pirates... and Halis occasionally indulges my fantasies :) He even got the infamous heart tatoo with my name on it. We told Isaac that
Daddy used to be a pirate and that Mommy used to be a mermaid ... and that is how we fell in love. We tell a whole story about it ... and he loves it :) Anyway, my cousin is not back from Kaz yet and I am getting worried. The court there is giving them a hard time and I think they may be there for a while. Ugh.
