You are funny. That might have been your best post yet . . . plus, it wasn't totally crazy because who knows when your haunted blog might post, but I am with ya, why no new post??? Actually, I know why. Sometimes I am like "post girl" all the day long and other times there just is nothing in my head for a good week or more that I feel like posting. Blog Shmog, I think, then suddenly, something wonderful 9or mediocre) pops into my head and I post away.
P.S. What Jana means is: real friends do not post that they are pregnant while you are away (rather they hardly post at all like you have been observing) . . . BUT she doesn't need to feel bad because she says I can just make sure she is in on the loop NEXT year when I am pregnant. Ohhhhh Jana you are a smart alec for sure. You'll see, NO MORE babies! Just kidding . . . there will probably be more.
Why post when you need a forum for Q&A? Gasoline: Those red containers (or other containers specifically for fuel) are the best to use. Unleaded gas has a short shelf life (diesel is different) so you will want to rotate every 6 months (lawn mower, ATV, cars). Garage is fine but if you have a shed that's a better option. Another good habit, as far as fuel in concerned, is to fill your tanks whenever they hit half full. Then you know you always have a little something in the tank. Also, consider storing an extra propane tank if you have a BBQ or camp stove. The preparedness bug has hit a lot of people for the first time. Wonder what's coming down the pike??
O YES!!!! YOU TOOK OFF THE CASE SENSITIVE LETTERS!!!! I LOVE YOUR BLOG NOW EVEN MORE THAN BEFORE!!!! YOU AND NANCY REALLY ROCK NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yea, it's kind-of like going to the freezer for the 5th time in the same evening, with the same result and same thought as the first 4 times: "my favorite ice cream isn't here, I just knew that this time I would open the freezer and there it would be...what's up with that?"
This is not a beauty parlor or a tattoo parlor. It is Perla's parlor. Why a parlor? I have always wanted to have a parlor. Webster's says a parlor is, "a room set aside for entertaining, a small semi-private sitting room. I heard that the word "parlor" comes from the French word, "parler" or "to speak". One website said that, "The parlor was always the best room." I don't really know what that means specifically but if it was written it must be true. So, this will be my best room for chatting or reading and entertaining guests. In the evenings, after the kids are down I can finally do as so many of my most beloved fictional (and non-) characters have done in the past...I shall retire to the parlor. And you can trust that unlike most parlors that are still in existence today, this parlor is not haunted.
