The News

Do you see these cute little things that I just couldn't resist buying, even though I've already had 2 little girls and have plenty of baby clothes and things? Do you see them?!
Well, they, too, will be packed away in storage for now because this little child in my womb will not be wearing any of them! Because HE is a HE!!!

My family keeps asking how I feel about this. I found out around 4 o' clock and I was first mostly in shock and then felt a bit of a loneliness. This isn't Sarah? Well where is Sarah? Please don't tell me she is in an orphanage somewhere with out me and I won't be able to find her until she is 3 or 4 or something. That breaks my heart. No. No worries. I have faith that God knows way more than He can tell us at one time. So, for now, I will not worry about my Sarah. I will find her some day. I have no doubt of that.

When I can stop worrying about her and why she isn't in my womb, then I start to feel really excited. This is just a very exciting and happy surprise. Who is this little man cub? I am feeling more and more excited to find out. I felt his little nudgings this morning for the first time. Chancho and I were just drifting in and out of sleep, knowing we needed to get up, when I suddenly shouted, "Our baby! I just felt it!" And that is a miracle. I am so blessed and feel very honored that we will have another son.

Loumy, who has been telling us all along that this is a boy, sat in his booster seat in the back and had the cutest little smug look on his face the entire way home as he said over and over, "I KNEW it was a baby bwutha! I knew it was a bwutha!"

Well, I am just still pleased as punch that even before your cautious father-in-law said, "It's a boy" I was able to shout loudly, "IT'S A BOY!!" because I am never one who can tell those things, and even though you could tell too, you were still just unbelievingly waiting for Guy to really say those words . . . but I knew, and I am so excited for and in love with little boy -- who will be so lucky to have Loumy to teach him how to be a cool athlete.

P.S. And no worries, right now anyway your little Sarah is safe and happy up in heaven and she knows the plan and is ready for it and is just happily watching and giggling at your confusion and how they confused you and hugging her brother goodbye til she gets to join him exactly when she knows she's supposed to.

P.S. Those clothes will for sure be TOTALLY out of style by the time Sarah comes, so if I have a girl . . .

Well, I'll be, I'm speechless.

And THAT NEVER HAPPENS!

You should listen to Loumy more often, I guess, since he knew more than you.....

Yes, I think everyone in heaven is having a good laugh right now. I often think that heaven gets a big kick out of us all on a regular basis - kind of like when you laugh at your kids when they are learning to walk and they are all falling all over but look so cute doing their 'thing' - yeah, well I think heaven people are just looking at us with their loving eyes as we learn how to live.... EVERY STINKIN' SINGLE DAY - because some days it just hurts when you fall, you know! But not today for you - today is just a really fun day when walked on over and got yourself a lovely treat!

Congratulations Perla Dear! So much joy a baby boy dhost will be! Loves and hugs for you!

That is wonderful news! Congratulations again. And isn't God amazing?
Before Sarah could arrive, He had to prepare another big brother "bodyguard" to help usher her in.

CONGRATS!!!! I can't wait to see this little guy and yay for Loumy! Isn't it funny sometimes we can never guess what Heavenly Father might have in store for us.
Crystal called me last night and said she had three extra tickets to Nutcracker so I am going to take my girls tonight. After I said yes, I couldn't believe it has been a whole year since we went. I wish she had more and I would have gotten more notice to call you to come. But I would love to get together again so when you are feeling up to it please call!

I am starting to like this Sarah. She has a mind of her own. She is going to come when she is good and ready and not a second sooner. As for Mr. Cox.....I am so excited. I can't wait to meet him.

Oh so sweet. It's amazing how kids know those kinds of things. I am glad that you are happy for this little boy to come. Boys are so much fun to love (as are girls, but I don't know that yet:O).

Hey Congrats!

I have wanted to get that calendar to you but it might be next week...I am going out of town.

I was convinced Will was a girl but Ben just kept saying, "Nope it is a boy and his name is Will", I guess we couldn't argue with that could we?

i'm so grateful for guidance, comfort and the fun ways that we are often blessed/prompted when we are trying to build our family--do what is right.

i look so forward to hearing about your little man as he grows and one day hearing your story of your little sarah(i hope it's alright to share that we are in the same boat searching for our baby daughter bella and looking forward to holding her one day.)

congratulations! what a blessing!

I just knew my second baby was Morgan. I just knew. He turned out to be Kaeden. Two were all we were going to have. Fast forward nine years.....Morgan came when we were inspired to adopt Addy. She refused to show up until we had done our duties. Addy and Morgan are inseparable and Morgan is Addy's comfort in life. Morgan came when she could fulfill her purposes. You will have Sarah somehow, some way. Congratulations because Loumy needed a bwutha!

Well, what a happy surprise. By the way, I often refer to Ethan as "man cub"--even though it's not supposed to mean a boy baby, but just a human baby, it's just so perfectly right for a little boy, how they're just such cuddly creatures, and besides Jungle Book is Ben's all-time favorite movie. We'll just have to say extra prayers now for Sarah to come in her own due time, and prayers that she will be safe and happy until she gets to you. Love you!

Congratulations! Hey maybe Sarah is #5! So I just realized that you were NOT on my list of bloggers anymore. Very strange. Well you're back on sista! I knew i was missing someone. Anyway, FYI Twilight was filed somewhere in Oregon.

I haven't not seen the movie yet, and I want to. Are you a fan? We should go if you are.

Sarahs are all about balance. No self respecting Sarah would outnumber the boys like that! She'll turn up in her own good time.

How's the hair? Any change with the baby? Mine's thinking about coming back since I stopped eating gluten, of all things. I never would have thought such a horrible woman could be right, but then we can't decide where wisdom comes from, can we?

Oh boy, oh boy! One thing I've learned is I'm never in charge, nor can I plan my future. But in the end, He knows what's best. We just submit and learn, and the great thing is we are blessed! What a great blessing for your family!

All I can say is that Sarah and Dhost are lucky to have you for your mom. The Lord never cheats anyone as you well know. It will all work out in the end.

We can wait to meet your new one!
