Who also happens to be my father-in-law: Next time I see you, you better expect me to give you the big old stink eye. Tonight when I was sick and didn't come to your house for dinner but your son (who happens to be my husband) took the kids and he told me what you said! He (my husband and your son) said that you said that you are most definitely, quite sure that I am having a boy but since I looked so distraught at the thought of it, you would not tell me last Thursday but decided to have me come back this week with your son (my husband) so that he could deal with me if I burst into tears or some other type of fit! He said you are also rubbing it in that you knew we were not done having kids and that from the moment you found out I was pregnant you thought I was having a boy. I am coming up to your office first thing tomorrow and you will give me another ultrasound and you will tell me the truth! You are in big trouble, Mr. Nurse-Midwife-Father-in-Law-Grandpa-Guy!

Hahahahohoh!! But I don't know why everyone is sad if this is not Sarah, because even though I tried so hard not to reminde you because for years I knew you couldn't handle it, but I am quite quite certain you once told me you heard TWO voices telling you not to forget them -- a boy and a girl. I'm sorry 'cause I know you don't want to worry about how and when Sarah will get here, but what about if it was Sarah and then you'd just have to keep wondering how tiny little man to follow Loumy around is supposed to get here?? HMMM?? Ever think of that? HohoHEheho. I am so in love with maybe little tiny boy!!! He and Sarah are probably chuckling away up there all like, "Hahah, we sure have mom confuuuused. Oh geez, doesn't she know anything?"
Wow, I keep fining that the Lord's will is so much better than what I was planning (or in my defense what I was thinking from info He gave us.) In our "perfect world" we originally though 3 children, but now it's beginning to look a lot like 6 or 7 children to join our famil(luckily we know where to look for our last 1 or 2.) Your sweet baby boy and/or your sweet baby Sarah...congratulations! I'm so excited for you and looking forward to your official news! ;)
lol this is funny there must be some kind of conflict of interest entangled somewhere inside this whole thing.
You give it to that daddy-in-law, and then remember that you will love and adore this baby, Sara or not.:O) Congratulations!
that's the way to tell him! :) hehe ... don't people (even nurse-midwife-father-in-law-grandpas) know they shouldn't mess with pregnant people?! :):) good luck. keep us posted!!
From the sounds of things, the whole of bloggerdom now thinks you are having 2 more kids. Maybe you will pull a fast one on the grandpa-midwife-meanie-bullie-kick-him-in-the-pants guy and just have TWINS!
humm... just a thought here - do you think that maybe Nancy is having Sarah and you are having the boy, because Nancy doesn't know nothing neither....so maybe God was just easing your burdens by sending Sarah to Nancy because you two, well you are like two little peas in a sister pod, so ya know, what's the difference ......
And yes, I think the babies are laughing hard! ET would say they have the 'jiggles'.
Oh I know Heavenly Father has a funny bone! He pulls fast ones on me all the time! Usually, well, okay, always for the better.
Does that mean you might want to keep Emerson for yourself? Because we still can't commit to a boy name. But you give Guy what for tomorrow, and if you could also make sure he has the 3-D ultrasound fixed for my big ultrasound on Wednesday, that'd be great. Well, we'll just have to see about Sarah. She must still be coming to you some how.
You two will make one handsome little guy for sure! So maybe 5 is in your future! I had Tate go over to the school on picture day and get his pic taken too. For 15$ I figure it is a deal and I love when I hang them on the wall the backgrounds all match. I've done it the last few years. I can't believe it might be a boy, you have to post the official word once you get. If it makes you feel better we were told Grace was boy the first time we had the ultrasound to look, it is still early and sometimes parts are not all were they should be.
You are so hillarious! I can see your cute little face scrunched up in anger...Mother's know best so ignore your father in law, mid wife, type guy...well unless it turns out like my "daughter" Micah...sometimes the Lord knows we can only handle one shocker at a time...
Lol!How funny is that?! I brought Ryan in to read this post; he thought it was hilarious as well. Good one by Guy.
My uncle is named "Kay" because my grandma was sure he was a girl, ironically, he married a girl (my aunt) named "Michael". So I guess what I am saying is stick with Sarah as a name HE'LL learn to love it and so will you. TA HA.
Maybe you are having twins??? In that case you would both be right! :)
Love it. Let ol' Guy have it!! And then let the rest of us know what he says. I'm so curious. Just remember, what ever happens you are going to have a precious little baby who is so perfect in your eyes that you won't care what sort of anatomy it comes with :) Good luck!!
Maybe Sarah had something to do with getting a little guy. Maybe Sarah had a deep dark secret.....Without a doubt-God works in mysterious ways.
