New 'Do

I took Loumy to Stacey's "Hands of Champions" Beauty College this afternoon to see if his hair was long enough for corn-rows. They were a bit worried that it was too short, but it still turned out really cool and Loumy sat nicely on my lap for nearly 2 hours. What a good sport! There was good and bad news after. We got in the car and drove to my in-laws for a gathering and when we got out Loumy had pulled out one of the braids already! I was about to cry but then I sat down and tried to re-do it myself. I did it! So, now I think next time I will just try to do it myself--although the students only charge $1.50 per braid so you can't really go wrong at that price.

Hi! I just wanted to tell you that I sure did appreciate your comment on my blog. I have heard a lot about you and I have a lot of respect for you. It meant a lot to me that you don't even know me and you would take the time to pray for me. Thanks again and I look forward to getting to know you!
